New Airline and Flights to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport

Interesting in the news recently is the significant growth of travelers in and out of Sarasota International Airport (SRQ).

SRQ airport reported breaking an all-time record of passengers (in the first eight months of 2021) with a total of 2,034,538 people passing through its terminals. Amazingly, they achieved these numbers without international tourists being able to travel here so far this year too!

What does that mean for us? As Sarasota continues to grow in popularity as one of the best cities to live in the country, the SRQ international airport has now become the favorite airport to land for people to use from other states helping to make a positive financial impact in our area over the coming years.

Avelo Airlines just announced a new service to and from New Haven, Connecticut. This is in addition to the 51 non-stop flights available both year round and seasonal to and from SRQ.

All SRQ year-round destinations include:

Asheville, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Grand Rapids, Knoxville, Nashville, New York, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Syracuse, Tulsa, Washington DC, White Plains.

Seasonal SRQ flight destinations include:
